Date: 2012-06-13 04:06 am (UTC)But it isn't like the hunger games. Katniss lives in poverty and rises out messed up from all the jumble her government put her through. I don't think Tris has ever suffered through much through her life and so her complaints/suffering are a little bit more roll-your-eye type fears. Katniss biggest fear is her family being harmed/surviving. Tris? being homeless and without a faction to live in. I don't know but for me being homeless is a better step than being thrown into a twisted game for a governments enjoyment in suppressing its people. But I'd suggest reading it simply because I don't want to sit here and be like, "DON'T READ THIS EVER" everyone should experience as many books as possible even ones others deem terrible.
And in the short, no it's not like the hunger games.
